Celestron 4se align issues

Hey all Ive got the celstron 4se using skyalign method has worked fine every other time but tonight just kept saying failed levelled it twice seems to be working fine just won't align. any help please?

Did you get the time entered correctly? Mistakes in time, time zone, lat/long being reset etc. are the most common cause of this.

If you don't have one, you need an external rechargeable battery, the internal ones get chewed up in no time.

Sotty85, I have the same scope as you. Bought it just before Xmas and relised how quickly the batteries dont last. Havent bought any extras for it except a power supply, cost about $30. I do have the advantage of using it within reach of the house.
