Well, looky that Simon sure, viewing the large size on flickr shows a few warts and the colour of the main neb is a bit unorthodox but sheesh so much dust...nice work from less than an hour of exposure with a DSLR shows what a fast Newt can do...that's what I call express deep sky imaging

That is a very nice image!
I have heard all about that new Sony A7 camera. Supposed to be a VERRRRRRY sensitive sensor. with minimal noise. Looking forward to seeing more from it!

Pow! That'pretty good SNR for under 1 hour. Lots of faint dust there, Well done!

Am I right in saying your system is sampling at around 2.2"/pixel? You should try Pixinisght's drizzle integration tool. Its works great on under sampled images. It even has a Bayer Drizzle function for OSC and our DSLR's.

Not a huge necessity though, your image has a lot of impact already.
