Thumbs up Sunrise and Fog at Berowra

Hi all

I took these shots on the way to work a few weeks ago (15/09/2006), at Berowra. I've often looked at the valleys full of fog and thought "I should bring my camera", so on this morning I did.

I drove along the old pacific hwy rather than the freeway, trying to find a suitable spot to park and take some shots. Found a spot at Berowra, but it still wasn't perfect, as a lot of the wide shots had power lines in them and also the train track below.

I tried cloning out some of the powerlines, but in some shots I just couldn't be bothered

The shots were processed in RawShooterPremium followed by Photoshop.

I had a lot of shots, but a lot looked similar. Whittling them down to 16 was difficult!

350D, using both the 18-55 and 75-300 lens.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful shots Mike, you make it very hard to choose a favourite.
I don't envy your job of selecting the best ones, they are all really nice.

It's a beautiful area to shoot from with some very scenic landscape.
The shots remind me of flying in low through the mountains on approach for landing.

Well done Mr "Landscapes"
My favs I think are these, they have amazing colours:

Fantastic shots Mike. First one in the second batch 4 me. That would poster up well.

Crikey Mike, what time to you go to work. There are laws about getting out of bed to go to work before the sun comes up.
