Pest management

A question for those who leave equipment set up in the home-made observatories, particular those of ROR design. How have you sealed your obs effectively enough to prevent pests from invading your equipment?

Until recently I've had both my scopes out under a telegizmo cover, and while these are great for weather protection, they don't do so well in keeping out pests. I'd recommend them for keeping your scope dry for a couple of days, or using them during winter when the insects are less abundant, but nor for long term usage. I've had one OTA invaded by ants and the other by wasps. All cleaned out now and tip top, but clearly not something you want happening.

I'm about to build a "nano obs" which I'm planing to build mostly to try and protect my new, more expensive, equipment safe from pests and I'm wondering how everyone else is managing this.
