C/2014 Q2 from Mackay Australia - 9th Jan 2015, Widefield image

Comet Lovejoy C2014/Q2 taken on Sigma 70-200 @ 100mm. F3.2, ISO3200 - 26x30sec in poor seeing conditions. The tail tonight is much fainter. Imaged in Mackay, Qld, Australia.

Nice wide field Mike. I've been meaning to do a widefiled with my 135mm lens but never got a roundtoit.

Here's last nights widefield image. No darks or flats - plenty of upper level moisture made for difficult viewing unfortunately.
