Thanks Rolf. I have the LRGB for each panel as well just waiting for the marathon processing effort!

Thanks Ian. Now the trick will be to keep that detail in the HaLRGB image.
Are you going to add RGB?

Yes I have LRGB ready to go.

I planned a DSLR marathon this year but alas did not go to my dark site. Definitely next year I want to do more DSLR Milky Way mega images.

Cheers Slawomir. Your QSI690 would be handy for this sort of shot but it would need a wider lens.

Also reminds me of some of the Technical Pan images from the 80's.

Thanks John. I know what you mean. It looks quite different in Ha and you see loops and objects galore. The Milky Way sure has a lot of stuff in it.

Cheers Jo. I have been fascinated with MW images since the very beginning of my doing astrophotography. I think I'll add more panels next Milky Way season to give more room around it.

Its quite cheap, just a lens like that (there are lots of good lenses in the 50mm focal length range) and an adapter.

Thanks Steve, I am glad you will find it of use. It is handy to have a wide image to locate objects of interest.
