Hello ISS members

I just joined this forum and I must say I'm impressed by the quantity and quality of information one can find here.
It's to the point that I don't dare to post a question as it may well have been debated hundred times already
But, "no worries mate" as you say here (I am French...), I will dare.

My equipment, all dedicated to astrophoto, consists of:
- LX200 8"
- C90
- permanent concrete pier in the backyard (in France),
- 300D
- DSI Pro II
- several webcams I modified myself
- lots of softwares for imaging, tracking, calculating, etc...
I will be posted in Brisbane for the next 4 months and I surely intend to contact the local astroamateurs.

First question follows in the Equipment section.

Cheers

Hi there and to IIS!

We have a few french members here (hevelsky and pierre), you may have heard about us from them already..

There's a large number of active IceInSpace observers and astroimagers around the Brisbane area, as well as local clubs - so you won't have any trouble meeting up with some locals to observe or image with. I'm sure they'll chip in here.

Look forward to seeing your images, and I hope you enjoy our beautiful southern skies!
