Rosette NB

3 hours of Ha
2 hours of OIII
Combined to create synthetic "Green" layer
All 30 minute subs. Might have to scale the OIII back to 15-20 minutes. Seems to be picking up a lot of skyglow.
Also needs a lot more subs. Planning on adding some RGB stars over Xmas when I go away to Dorrigo (50km in from Coffs)
Thanks for looking

I was thinking this rendition is so different their must be all sorts of things wrong with it, but geez, by design or random luck youve managed to altogether produce an appropriate gritty realistic and odd 3D effect that works very well indeed. Havent seen the Rosette quite this way before, excellent, and a pleasure to view!.

Nice work, Scott. This image has come a long way since the earlier versions.

Just a quick question to everyone...
Is the Rosette a strong emitter in SII? I took a 30 minute sub the other night and stretched the bejezzes out of it and there was nothing but stars. No nebulosity what so ever. Is this normal for this target?
