Kendrick power panel

Cable management is always a pain around the mount and the other night I damaged my mount wifi control box with a snagged cable...very frustrating. I have seen the adverts for the new Kendrick power panel and decided to take the plunge and put in a order. I know the Hitec mount hub pro has been out for a while but the Kendrick has 12v outlets, option for 15v/18/24v/48v outlet and unit heating. Not a lot of user feedback out yet but interesting to see how it goes

That does look pretty good. If I didn't already have my custom solution box, I'd get something like that - it actually better than what I've got because of the possibility of mounting on the dovetail of the scope - I wish I had thought of that at the time.

I'm surprised that there aren't more of these things around or tripods/mounts that integrate more of this power provision capability.

HitecAstro have released an updated Hub Pro, which looks like it sits between the scope and the saddle. Worth a look as well I reckon http://www.hitecastro.co.uk

Yeah looks good but its hard to find a dealer that actually has it in stock with a tagged price. It also has a serial port, which doesn't seem to be the case for the Kendrick

The serial port for the focusers is always handy, but having a read and it only comes with 3 usb ports? The old had 4

Been out a few times with the Kendrick power panel now and it is going well. No problems connecting everything up, the supplied usb cable with typeA/B ends was to short had to get a longer one, as can be seen in the pic it is bulky. Communication with Kendricks was great and delivery was fast.
