Samyang 24mm F1.4 Nikon mount

I have a very nice Samyang 24mm F1.4 lens. This is a good performing astro lens and does well with nightscapes. It has no coma and no colour aberration from about F2 onwards. Its a very sharp lens. I have compared it with other lenses at that focal length and it always impresses.

I paid $600 for it new about a year ago. I'll sell it for $450 including postage to Oz.

It has a metal aperture ring and can be adapted to other bodies like Fuji, Sony, Canon with cheap adapters. There are also high end adapters around like Novoflex.

Its a good lens for night time lapse as well.

Greg.

I use a Nikon mount Samyang 24mm on my Canon. It gives you the ability to use an adapter with a focus confirm chip which is useful for daytime use.
However, I haven't been too pleased with the last few adapters I've bought. They aren't as tight fitting as they used to be. Great lens though.

Thanks Steve. Perhaps I had that wrong so you can use the Nikon mount lens on a Canon. Good to know. It 's the other way round, you can't use a Canon mount on a Nikon.

Novoflex adapters are the best.

Price reduced

Price lowered to $395. That's not far away from half price.
