I’m selling my main imaging camera, as I no longer have time to image thanks to work. It is the QHY9 Monochrome. Included is the CFW1 filterwheel (2” filters) and QHY LRGB filter set. Along with that, the package includes all the cables/ power supplies for the camera and filterwheel, software and electronic instructions, extra desiccant strips, a gas purge cylinder for the camera internals and padded aluminium carry case that fits all of the above.
All of this way purchased from Theo, the Australian distributor of QHY products, in December 2010. Since then the camera has worked flawlessly and produced some amazing images. The camera is still in perfect condition. The filterwheel has had a small amount of plastic filed off the see through plastic part in order to fit the TSOAG9, off axis guider, a very minor modification. A picture is included. Besides that the filterwheel is as new.
Brand new, this cost $2835. I’m asking $1900. Pick up from Baulkham Hills (inner West Sydney) would be best as the package weighs about 4kg and is the size of a briefcase, however, shipping can be arranged at the buyers expense.
