Nothing wrong with trying different reprocessing techniques. You're at least getting good contrast, escaping an overall flat result, but perhaps you don't have to stretch as hard.

I think you're right. Less stretch with more data will give a better result overall.
There was a brief glimmer of hope last night here in Brisbane. But of course, as soon as my scope was setup, the clouds rolled in!
