3 panel mosaic M42 to M78.
Hi,
Another mosaic I've been tinkering with for a long time.
Had quite a bit of trouble blending the M78 frame in, it was taken in less then perfect conditions, and the background was quite noisy.
HEQ pro 5 mount. Orion mini guider.
Unmodded canon 1100D, 18 to 300 zoom at 220mm F/6.
8 x 8 minute subs x panels ISO 800. Stacked in DSS, processed in PS Cs2.
Image cropped.
Cheers,
Justin.

That's a pretty good return on your time Justin. It has helped my pin down the HH Neb more so than other pics I have seen too, so thx for that :-).
Nice mate.

Very nice work again Justin. You are certainly one of the most prolific imagers I've seen for a while and your imaging system seems to work well almost all the time. Wish I could say the same.
Cheers

Thanks Steve!
My setup has been good right out of the box.
Apart from some flexure and collimation issues which are mostly sorted.
Cheers,
Justin.
