GSO 305 mm - Canon T3 - ISO 400 - 3 x 4 min (12 min) - OAG - Skyglow filter - Coma corrector

Few photos, but a very nice image. Why so few photos ? The Sun. It was dawning !

Perhaps one of the clean hi-res possible with Canons. You must see in full resolution mode: 4290 x 2856 pixels in : http://www.astrobin.com/137015/ or http://www.astrobin.com/full/137015/0/?real=&mod=

Nice one Jorge. Like I was saying in another thread, open clusters like this one are often ignored. People want big bright nebula and galaxies instead.

I'll be targeting some of these this summer as they are a bit easier to shoot in the summer heat.

Thank you Kevin and Jo. Look what I found in Internet:
Open cluster in constellation of Cancer. With stars aged between 3.2 and 4 billions years, the cluster isn't so younger than our Sun.

Distant about 840 parsec. It has more than 100 stars similar to the Sun.

Some astronomers consider M67 as the possible parent cluster of our Sun. However, there aren't confirmation with computer simulations.
