Big Bang from Last night

Hi all,

A huge Day/Night of Storms across SA, at last.... Spent most of the evening in the Mid-North area, around Tarlee, Kapunda, Riverton and Roseworthy. Some of the closest stuff below...

Great shots. I live 5 minutes from the beach and now regret not getting in the car

Brilliant Andrew

Number 3 is a cracker

Did you notice any changes in the scent of the air as the storm was raging?

Thanks Brad, Chris.

Chris, I didn't notice anything, unusual, I was trying to keep low at this point since I was not in the car at the time.

Wonderful shots Andrew

I'm still waiting for some storms to use my "Lightning Trigger"

It's been nothing but clear skies since I bought it.

Awesome shots. I particularly like #3 as the ground is nicely illuminated.

What camera and lens were you using?

Thanks for the Reply. I was using a Canon 1100D and Canon 17-40mm F4L USM Lens at 17mm. A mate of mine was less than 500m up the road and caught the same Bolt using a 10mm lens and it still didn't show it all...
