At least there's no spider, David!

I wonder what you'll make of this image - it was taken on the day of my digital camera's first light.

very nice ving. how did u get the water shot so close? use a macro lense?

my camera has a macro setting. its not a dslr, just a click and go
its this one...

You were not too far off, David. It is in fact a glass bowl which was left out on our back balcony overnight and which filled with rainwater. The 'aeration' is perfectly natural and, although it looks like it does, the bowl does not have a rim.
