These are some others from my attempt to catch the self-involved Wrens.
I am going to try again for better sharpness, although I like the motion in these.
Here's a thing tho: The blue in the Blue Wren always seems extreme neon-like and I am wondering whether it's an effect of the UV or IR component of the colour.
I remember a documentary where a film make/researcher had discovered that some colours shaded into the neighbouring tones outside the visible spectrum. But, since the camera chip is sensitive to the extreme ends I wondered if it was making the blue over expose.
The discovery solved a riddle about what female birds found attractive in the mates and esp. in plain coloured birds. They apparently see a broader visible spectrum than we do.
Anyway, hope you enjoy the photos.
