gpusb question

Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone can help me out, just received a shoestring gpusb from bintel today in the hope I can use the meade dsi I already own for a OAG cam. So anyway my question is how do Get it all plugged in? Does the camera get plugged into the usb port on the laptop and then the gpusb into another port and finally mount to gpusb? Thanks

Im not sure what software to use for guiding yet but I did get the dsi and the software that I got with it to work on windows 7 after a lot of stuffing around. What might be a good program to start with? I have been into astrophotography for a couple years now but only ever with my camera attached to a borrowed scope and mount, I now have my own gso 6" rc and eq5 pro goto.

Yes phd does support meade dsi cameras. You should get phd2 as it has a lot more features than the original version.
