I cant help myself, i thought i wouldn't do it but I have to share the event that happened on Friday. in a nutshell she ended up being top of the school for her graduation day at school. Not only that but she got a whole swathe of awards - i know not what for (my ignorance), one including a $5000 scholarship study award to trip overseas as part of her course- what ever she does at uni as an undergraduate. like most year 12 students she is knuckling down for the final onslaught to the HSC. I will be glad when it finishes - and sad as a whole part of her life will be changing - now i feel old.
so to all those parents out there with their kids now doing the HSC - I wish them well and every success
thanks Jen - the up side has been she rarely asks me for help - too thick and out of touch with all they are learning. that's my excuse and i am sticking with it

Hahahaha yeah I'm hearing ya my son is doing year seven and their maths is way different from when I went to school
Congratulations to your daughter, David! This doesn't happen by accident, parents establish the right environment and encourage the discipline required. So congratulations to you and your wife as well
