Encouraged by my success in capturing 10 minute subs, I decided to take a stab at a galaxy shot and selected the moderately easy Sculptor galaxy as the target.
This shot consists of 26 x 10 minute subs taken at 900mm and a UHC-S filter was employed. 100 x 10 minute darks and 100 bias frames used for calibration and diffraction spikes courtesy of Starspikes Pro 2.x. The results exceeded my expectations of my humble refractor.
