NGC 6496 - Globular Cluster

GSO 305 mm - Canon T3 - OAG - Coma Corrector
ISO 400 - 13 x 4 min (52 min) - Skyglow filter
ISO 800 - 20 x 4 min (80 min) - Halfa 12 nm

Good job Jorge, I like the wide field one best. Something about having a lone bright star with diffraction spikes just tops an image off.

Thank you, Rex. And now, the same cluster with Canon 350D (mod) and without bias files in DSS for less noise.

GSO 305 mm - ISO 400 - 5 x 4 min (20 min) - Skyglow filter - OAG - Coma corrector

Searching information about this cluster I found that it is located at the other side of Milk Way, with much gas cloud and dust between us an him. And in the halo of Galaxy.
Therefore it is not an easy target to capture.

I didn't find images with colors of stars: the most (or all) are b/w.
The image with Canon 350D (mod) is better than with Canon T3.

I am glad to get catch him as I did.
