Corona Australis and B86 with Bert's lens

Hi all
Got a very deep Corona Australis pic with bert's 300mmf2.8 flourite lens tonight.
11x3 mins ISO 200 ( couldnt go any longer per exposure due to skyfog, F2.8 is really fast) uv/ir filter installed in rear of lens. Modded 350D camera, processed in Iris and Photoshop, with Noiseware to finish off. Im happy to get the brown stain of the dark nebula. To go any deeper id have to shoot from a darker place. Had a hassle with a gradient too, due to the wider area the lens covers and light pollution over Newcastle to the east. This lens would be unbelievable under a dark sky, as it is, Im amazed to get this deep from a place where you are flat out seeing the LMC naked eye.

Also got Barnard 86 and surrounding starclouds, 3x3 mins ISO 200.
Will see about uploading larger versions to my ISP server tomorrow.
Scott

I agree, both are really good images considering your location!

I particularly like the B86 field :-)
