Celebrity Survivor

Any of the regular survivor fans watch this?

I have to say it wasn't too bad.. The old "Australian Survivor" that channel 9 did was terrible.. cheaply made, I don't even know if they finished the series on TV.

This one though is quite surprising.. it has the same high value production quality and editing, it really does look like the real survivor.. I think it helps that castaway productions are running it - the same gang that do the real one.

As for the host, Dicko's no Jeff, but he's not doing a bad job so far.

I'll give it another look-in next week.. was a shame to see Kym Johnston go though.. she would've been quite pleasing to look at in the weeks to come. Although without makeup her eyebrows looked weird!

I think it will be a good series Mike, like you said it is being done by the Castaway team so the standards should be high. Haven't some of the celebs aged though...Imogen will go next week. (i hope)..

I must admit, the first Survivor I loved. I even recorded episodes if I couldn't be home. Over the years my interest has waned to the point where they all become copies of one another, aka Popstars, Dancing with the Stars (I thought this may be something to do with astronomy)...the list goes on.

Can they make a reality series about observing? To vote for the person who chooses the best objects, ring 1900... Tune in next week to find out if John's 60mm will split Alpha Centauri. Who do you think will win next weeks Messier hunt! Vote for the housemate with the best mount. Could give new meaning to "naked eye observing"!

Maybe I need some more clear nights...getting bored now!

Looks ok...like you said it's no True Survivor.

The problem I am having is I can only see 1 competitor (Gabriela) the rest just look invisible to me...lol
