Lagoon

Last nights effort.
24 5min subs, darks, no flats
ed 120, atik 383osc, sgp, nebulosity, cs6
again pixelated due size reduction.
This was my first real effort at polar alignment, firstly i used Alignmaster and then refined it with the polar alignment tool in phd2, i really liked the real time adjustment in phd2, the resulting graph looked great. Next attempt will be pec, is the eqmod pec curve programme as complicated as it looks? pempro? any thoughts?
Cheers
George

Yes, good job, and you haven't allowed the bright area at the top to
blow out. You've chopped off the bottom of the nebula though.

Thanks Aiden, I will have to work on processing though. Strangely it seems I have more noise at -10deg than -5deg with the atik.

Thanks raymo , I did crop a larger image, I had a bit of noise in that area that I didn't know how to remove.

At the moment there is a lot of smoke haze around Darwin, looking straight up it didn't seem so bad but a lot of noise is appearing the data, see note above
