Pinpoint with widefields

I am currently imaging with a 70mm lens on my CCD camera. I tried to plate solve using pinpoint like I usually do but it is not solving and gave me an error message along the lines that my field was too wide. (15.91 arc seconds per pixel)

I am using Catalog GSC11.

Is there anyway to get pinpoint to work with a wide field image like this?

cheers
Brett

I have had it work with an 85mm lens. I think I reduced the magnitude range significantly - ?? lower limit of 10.

Hi David, where do you find that field, I can't seem to see where you go to adjust parameters for pinpoint. I normally just use it in SGP.

I've been using PinPoint LE through Maxim. Not sure about SGP/full version of Pinpoint.
