Is that an SDM Telescope you are expecting, by any chance Astroboy? If so, I may be going the same way in the coming months. I look forward to hearing the reviews.

As for the 12" LX200, that is a great price for a great scope. My 10"LX200 is an absolute dream machine, the GOTO performs flawlessly, and has really opened the heavens for me. You should sell to a discerning buyer very soon.

Yep
Peter at SDM has the scope almost finished there is a bit of hold up with the Mirror that Steve Kennedy is making in the USA , Corning were a couple of months late with the blanks but he has them now and has started .
I was talking to Steve the other day and tells me the mirrors are capable of handling 1000X , not bad for a F3.66 mirror , I tend to believe him I've read a lot of great reviews of his mirrors
Any way it should be here in October , hope so I have some Canadian punters arriving then.
Looks like I've sold the 12" GPS to a guest who was here for the weekend and was able to give it a run , great scopes and fun to use , I think I going to miss it but the 24" should help me get over it.

Thanks
Zane
