Dark Tower (another work in progress)
I have been collecting Ha on the Dark Tower for several nights now. Just hoping that I'll get decent conditions for a new moon night in the next couple of months so I can get RGB data at a dark site.
Scope was a Ceravolo 300 at f/9, camera an Apogee U16M. This is a total of about 22 hours with individual subs of 30 minutes.
There's a high res version at Astrobin:

Cheers,
Rick.

Thanks, H. There are a couple of very nice images of the DT around already so I have a tough job ahead of me to produce something that doesn't look sad by comparison
Cheers,
Rick.

Ta, Mike. It's rotated and cropped a bit so that's 3569x3163 of the original 4096x4096.
Cheers,
Rick.

Yep; I am looking forward to seeing that finished. Nice field of view; I can also see some faint striations around the outside of the tower. Very nice.

Ta, Rob. Yes, 3nm filters and automation vs the lights of Brisvegas

And thanks, Marcus! I especially like your HaRGB image of the Dark Tower. That's what originally made me add it to my list of cool objects
Cheers,
Rick.
