M17 in HST palette

Hi All,

The swan or Omega nebula captured over the nights of 3 and 4 August 2014. The image is again a narrowband false colour image with Sulphur mapped to red, Hydrogen to green and Oxygen to blue. The Sulphur images were taken through thin cloud and will need to be retaken as is has affected the stars.

Work in progress I suppose...

Cheers
Stuart

Looks great Stuart, I like the detail in the brown areas.
Do you have a link to a hi-res version?

Cheers

Hi Alistair,

Try this http://www.astrobin.com/full/111357/0/

I didn't post it because I think the image is unfinished, and I was quite tired last night (basically I forgot).

Thanks for all the nice comments people.

Cheers
Stuart
