Kevin, did us make an accord to shot the same target at the same time ?

Well, undoubtly my 12" has more resolution. But the quality of image has more dependence. Seeing and graphic processing are most important.

See attached your photo and mine. Yours have more quality than mine. The stars, the colors ... you loose some details only by resolution.

note: I did a bit on your full resolution jpg file. With the original ... it will "beat me to it ", too much !

What I will get with a true camera ?

Original resolution of Canon T3 on my set
theoretical: 0.67" / px
actual: around 1.2" / px - due to oscillation of guinding

It was reduced to 33 % to have similar size with mine.
