Coma Corrrector Spacers for AP

I am trying to setup my GSO Coma Corrector for use in my 8" imaging newt (f5). I have found an article online that recommends 10mm of spacer rings inserted to increase length between the final lense element and the DSLR sensor. The article says to allow 75mm from the final lense to the sensor, is this right? It seems to me the required spacing will depend on the length of your T2 extension on the camera adaptor, and whether it has the security notch for band clamping. Does anyone have any experience setting up that combination to achieve the proper length? Camera is a Canon 450D which already has the EOS T2 adaptor (length of this is 48mm but it obviously sits down in the focuser tube, but it has a security notch.

I can achieve (seemingly) good focus when looking at the Liveview screen, without the 10mm spacer/s.

I have a 35mm Extension tube that came with the scope and that has proved useful with the EPs for visual.
