Does anyone know about the amateur scene in wagga and the riverina area.. .? Are there any clubs, groups etc?

I'm from wagga originally-not much goes on as for organised group meets -you need to goto albury wodonga astro society

Yeah for Wagga Wagga your nearest club is Albury-Wodonga (https://www.asaw.org.au/) of which I am currently the secretary. Our star party is called Border Stargaze and is on in October (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/s...d.php?t=116244).

I'm not aware of any formal astro scenes in Wagga but there may be a few people who get together from time to time.

What? Say it isn't so Arthur. Surely there are jobs on the central coast or Newcastle for a man of your talents. Can they just transfer people like that?
