It's still going... Comet C/2012 X1 (LINEAR) 2014 July19 1200UT, 75 x 1 minutes, ED100 at F7.2, Pentax K-5. Field of view about 2 x 1.2 degrees. The bright star to the left is v Grus (mag 5.45).
It's rising at a reasonable hour now for all you sleepy heads at about 8:30 in the south eastern sky in the constellation of Grus. Magnitude is steady at 9.5.
