Mount rings

Laurie,

I wonder if the 125mm rings would fit the TSA120?

regards,

Phil

I originally bought them as a light weight alternative to the Parallax ones you have, Phil. Problem is they don't open up and you have to spring them over the larger focuser casting-something I could not make happen!

I've got those rings on my TSA120. The focuser needs to be unscrewed from the tube before slipping the rings on.
NOTE: there is a set screw which needs to be loosened before unscrewing the focuser.

Helpful

Thanks for the very helpful advice 'Casstony'!

You learn something new every day!

Laurie, if that's the case, I'll take them!

Money will be transferred tomorrow and you should receive Monday am.

All I need now is for someone to buy the Meade!

cheers,

Phil

Trick

Laurie,

I had to do that with the rings for my Megrez 90 but I was concerned that the 125mm rings might be too sloppy for the 120 tube.

All's well that ends well.

Cheers,

Phil
