The Crescent Nebula over 16hours

I managed to get this one finished last night condition were variable throughout with last night being the worst seeing in a while. Its only taken about a month to grab enough data for it which is unheard of here in the UK and I wouldn't normally image this time of year as the skies don't get very dark....glad I did. I will be stripping the scope down for a service over next few weeks ready for the new season, I have a few projects from last year that need finishing.
Exposure times were 3hours in Red, 2hours in Blue and 1 and a half hours in Green with 3hours of H-alpha and 6hours of Oxygen III giving a total exposure time of 16 and a half hours. All sub exposures were 30mins each.
Thanks for looking
Peter

Well done Pete, must be frustrating imaging at this time of year in your neck of the woods, I imagine you are very happy with just being able to complete this

Go the AG12 what will be included in the service?

Mike

A lovely image, Peter, and if it's any consolation the weather has sucked most places in Australia for months now The skies are now clear here in SE Queensland and the seeing is awful.

many thanks everyone....if I was to take the full moon into account up to about six weeks ago ive only had 6 usable nights since December....its been so bad here I nearly sold my kit.......having said that I was without my mount for 6months while the GOTO was being repaired so I wouldn't have been able to image anything anyway

Im thinking about sending my kit somewhere else and using it remotely
