I have made an accepted offer on a Pentax SDUF II astrograph (which Vixen is now remaking under the VSD banner), so some things are going to help afford the not insignificant ouch.
I have owned this a WEEK. It is absolutely near new, bought off another IIS member a week ago.
Vixen ED81Swt - ED glass semi-apochromatic refractor (doublet). Glass is flawless. Tube is scratch free. I replaced the focuser pinion with stainless steel unit I had custom made some time back, but am happy to include the plastic original knobs if preferred. Comes with the rings, handle, Vixen dovetail (or I can replace with a longer vixen plate if preferred, or a short or long Losmandy D plate - your choice), Vixen flip mirror, AND a Skywatcher aluminium hard case to store it in.

This scope is Japanese made, NOT Chinese (Vixen also sells the ED80, which is a rebadged Skywatcher - this is NOT one of those). It is MUCH sharper and contrasty to my eyes than the Skywatcher ED80, quite a bit lighter (a fantastic Grab n Go - so light!) and just looks great.
No other reason for sale except the Pentax SDUF is calling me...
