RAW Therapee

Found this yesterday while I was looking for Portable Apps and it's very well featured.
Has the RAW filters for my Canon (plus Nikon/Panasonic and others) built in and runs on Mac/Win (32/64bit) and Ubuntu Linux.
Has a nice work space with collapsible side panels for max image space when editing. Very nice.
It's free
Has anyone else tried it?

I have included some screen shots so you can see the work space, and on the right the tools.
I use the Portable in a folder on my HDD and keep a copy on a USB that goes everywhere with me.

Tried it a few years ago and found it to be somewhat unstable ( froze up mainly ) but I noted on a photoforum recently that it had been updated and fixed and being used more.
How's it working for you ?

It runs on any Linux, but isn't always included by default in every distro. I run it in Fedora.

It seems to have pretty good features but I haven't used it that much.

There's also Raw Studio but that doesn't seem quite as polished as Raw Therapee.

If not already, you should try Digikam as a photo management application - it also has an image editor and loks quite polished - it's very popular in the Linux community. Digikam should be available for most Linux distros, but it will pull in KDE dependencies, since it's a KDE/Qt app. (It's also available for Windows). Digikam also does RAW though I haven't directly used it with my Canon EOS yet.

So far I like it but learning a new work flow is a bit time consuming. Fun though.
It works well with my eos raw files and the jpg from same.
The 191 page pdf manual is helpful but learning it is still a work in progress.
My favourite thing is that it has so much more manipulation tools than the ones I have been using so I don't do a tiff conversion and manipulate further in Corel or PShop.
I haven't used the older version so can't comment except to say I have not had any problems yet with this new version.
