The Musical Fidelity A1 integrated amplifier caused a major stir when it came out in the mid 1980s, receiving rave reviews and is now considered a classic amp. It was marketed as a Class A amplifier and has a power rating of about 20W?or so per channel. This one is in good working condition. These amps run very hot - the exposed heat sink reaches 55-60 degrees.
I really love the clean sound of this amp and is quite valve-like, but my current studio monitors require much higher power than this A1 amp has to run correctly, so it is surplus to needs. $450 plus postage.
