My first Mosaic

Hi all - I created a couple of mosaics from three individual frames of Saturn approaching the moon during Wednesday night's occultation.

Thanks for looking.

Thanks Marc and Ralph.

I have some images from egress as well so I'll try & update the image to include those when I get a chance.

Added some extra Saturns from egress to my montage below.

I also created a time lapse movie of egress from single-frames taken at 1-second intervals.

Cool video. Taken with a Pentax K-5 I see. Most likely my next camera.

Thanks Andrew and Kevin.

I think the K-5 is pretty good (although I haven't any experience with other manufacturer's DSLRs). The number one thing I would like that it doesn't have is an articulated screen so I didn't have to twist my neck when focusing via live-view!

Good to see someone else shooting Pentax
