Anyone in toowoomba have a synscan?

I just got myself a new skywatcher 130p goto mount and the handset isn't working . The text just doesn't appear on the screen, when I first plugged it in it would slew using the arrow buttons but I tried flashing the firmware and even that doesn't work now. Was wondering if there was anyone in the Toowoomba area with a working handset that could confirm the mount is ok before I send the handset back.

Thanks.

Try a different cable first. The crimp on the stock cables can be a bit funny.

The 130p looks like it uses the standard ethernet cable.

I think that the cable is ok, it isn't standard ethernet unfortunately, one end is, the other end is telephone sized. The thing is I can push firmware updates to it but there is no text on the screen, even in standalone mode and if I try and write bytes to it over the com port using the reference in the back of the manual it just doesn't respond.

I managed to get the mount to slew again by flashing the 3.08 firmware so I guess the mount is fine and the screen on my handset is broken, don't need any help after all.
