Double stacked Lunt filter first light.

Took delivery of a second Lunt filter to double stack with my existing filter on the ED80 a while back and haven't seen much of the sun since. Today was my first light with it and I am well pleased.

Mosaic of 3 images for surface detail and 2 for proms using the ZWO AMI 130 camera.

Any suggestions much appreciated.

You'll need to rotate the etalons with respect to one another to null-out any hot-spots.

You've got an instrumental asymmetry that needs fixing.

Limb darkening occurs symmetrically around the edge of the sun...if it doesn't look like that, the filter is skewed/off-centre.

Nice contrast just the same.
