There has been some clear weather here in Brisbane. Got some more data for my Carina Nebula. 10 minute subs through a CLS clip in filter on my Canon 600D. Just under 3 hours of data.

You've got some great central details and colors but you need to correct your field curvature. The edges are out of focus.

What scope and mount are you using?
Looks like you could do with a coma corrector.

A coma corrector is very high on my list to get. Once I have my Orion G3 Monochrome camera and lots of filters, it will be next.

Hopefully the camera and filters will arrive this week!

Justin, fyi, I am using a Skywatcher 8" f5 scope mounted on the HEQ5 Pro mount. Guided with a Logitech C950 webcam through PHD.

I got another 3 hours of data last night. Hopefully tonight will be cloud free in Brisbane again!

The small chip on the G3 probably won't need a coma corrector.

But does that mean the picture quality is going to suffer?

Shouldn't do. When I used a small imaging CCD chip on my 6" F5 there were no aberrations. It's only when I switched to a DSLR with a larger APS-C sensor that I needed the coma corrector.
