Galaxy M61 in Virgo

I targeted this galaxy for something to do while waiting for Vesta. It needs more time than I am willing to give it. The warm May nights make for a noisy image also.

M61 is one of the many galaxies in Virgo. Magnitude 9.7, size 6'. 6" F5 Newtonian, roughly 180 x 30 seconds at ISO 3200, Pentax K-x.

Pretty. You've got a good handle on processing Kevin.
