Canon 300D Conversion Filter and now 300D Body

I was going to convert an old 300D as an educational exercise but thought better of it and gave the camera to my daughter to use.

However now both the camera and filter are for sale and may form an interesting proposition to someone who wants to have a go at doing a conversion.

Pictures of 300D now added. The package is now 2x 300D Bodies (One working(Black) , one defunct(Silver) and assorted bibs and bobs (see pics) and the conversion filter that was originally advertised.

Package includes 8GB CF card.

The defunct body I procured in order for spare parts as there where a few missing bits on the working body and it was cheaper and easier just to get the broken one than to try source them all individually.

Also if the conversion does take place and you need to replace a bit you have lost or broken it may be useful.

Price for the lot including conversion filter is $100 plus postage.

As for my daughter don't worry concerned dads she gets an upgrade to a 400D.

Cheers

Michael

I am pretty sure not.

I know I am being cheeky here but I could throw in the 300D if you want to have a go at modifying it.

$100 for the lot plus post(including all the batteries and bits and pieces)

There are compatibility issues with 300D and Windows 7 too. Best to run it on XP or independently and upload as you go.

Cheers

Sorry to post in a classified's thread, but if you're just reading the memory card via USB then there's no problems in Windows 7 in my experience. That may be because I've got 3rd party bios for it though - that may be a solution for you guys too.

Windows 7

Yes I think that's right.

From memory what I did with my 350D was put it in printer mode( not PC )
and upload image by image.

However now I just plug in my old Toshiba XP laptop and get full control.

Not wanting to do anyone out of a bid here, but if the offer is still open for the filter and 300d ? I'll throw my hat in the ring!
