Southern Cross over Lake Windamere

In a desperate attempt to find clear skies I drove out to the Great Western Plains of NSW. I got to a few K's out of Mudgee before I noticed some decent gaps in the clouds.

Thanks for looking

Nice work Carlos, you sure put some km's on the car in the quest for nightscapes.

Whats the night on the left? was it a street light which you hid behind the trees?

There is a nice glow in the sky also

Thanks Matt The light is from the power station on the Dam wall (Windamere Dam). I was a little worried it was going to be overexposed but it turned out ok. I had the car serviced 4 weeks ago, already clocked 8,000km, next service coming up in 2 weeks

I've had a new car for about 8 weeks and already put 5500kms on it unfortunately pretty much all of that has been work related not nightscape related
