moon tryout 1

I gave it a bit of a go!
Took a few pics of the moon with a digital camera just held upto the EP.

I wish I could do better but ya just gotta start somewhere!

they are better than most people starter
you have some good detail in there. did you process these in photoshop of sumpin?

also try less magnification for sharper pics till you get the hand of it

yeah ving, i am a bit of a photoshop guru. messed around with them a it because they were way overexposed...

Good shots, you might like to check the focus, it is a little soft. But very good for a try out.

Good first effort, here's a few things you might like to try:

Using a lower power EP may help with the vignetting (darkening round the edges).

I can't use anything smaller than a 35 Panoptic with my Fuji Finepix s02z (well, the 17mm Nagler just works but it is a pain to position the camera).

Also if you can change the exposure metering to "centre spot" rather than "multi" it may help with the auto exposure (works for me).

the camera i used doesn;t have alot of settings. It is a pretty basic digital camera.
