Well, that was eventful!
Seems the sun is scared of my 10" RC Scope - can't blame it I suppose.
After the sun dropped below my visible horizon in the backyard the clouds began to clear (typical). I grabbed the camera, tripod and solar filter for some happy snaps instead.
I didn't get any shots through the scope but at least I managed to capture some form of it.
