Got a chance To image Comet Jacques tonight 28/4/2014.Canon 450D modded.Williams optics 0.8 field flattener reducer.coupled to Williams Optics 90mm 6.9 apo..Skywatcher HEQ5 Mount tracked but not Guided.--ISO-800- 286 seconds Exposure.Camera noise reduction on .Some processing in Cs3. Specs on Comet -Dist. from the sUN -130,609,928 MILES-- Dist From Earth-108,077,549 miles.-Speed- 35.54 km/s.- 79,494.98 mph.I wreckon its brighter then they State mybe 8.5 to 9.- reguard's Tony

Well done Tony. Did you get a squint of it visually at all? I tried but failed.

Very nice, not sure if I'll have time to get this comet as it's sinking quickly in the west after sunset for me.
I tried visually but couldn't get it so it's nice to see such a nice pic of Jacques.

Hello I set up a 120mm Achromat Refractor and 50mm Finder scope used 26mm-18mm -eyepieces- Got a visual look at it over 2 nights.Made a drawing of it on Sunday night - Then got back onto it last night.Tony
