Ha Chicken

Been ages since I've set up and taken an astro image. While not a particularly fantastic image, thought I'd post this to let you know I'm still around

Seems like we're all coming out of retirement! I've been at it, too. Glad to know I can remember how set up all my gear and drift align, and manage to take 30-minute exposures with round stars. :~)

What gear did you use here?

Nothing wrong with that!

I believe you are excused for your absence given the weather in SEQ for the last 6-8 months!

I know. Think it's been nearly a year for me. Probably longer for you.
Gear is QSI583ws camera and TMB92SS scope.

For me it's been more of a time issue. New baby, new business, working long hours. Get home exhausted.

Thanks Mike. Aim was to get the little planetary bottom right in. It's such a bit Ha area, probably best to do a mosaic. Next time.

Thanks mate. Any compliment on an Ha shot from the Ha master is a plus in my book! I'm flattered.
