Ngc4216

I was looking for something to image last night but the moon came up while gathering these subs with the Meade 10"SCT but I really think it deserves a far greater effort on my behalf as this area is just swimming with a host of small galaxies as well as the principal ones. Not up to Ken Crawford's standards but it will be promising in the end.
This was a test close up of 10x5min L subs (2x2) to see what detail was available but I'm going back to do a longer and slightly wider set of images.
Comments welcomed.

Nice work Allan, the main galaxy show plenty of detail, as you suggested, longer subs would be the go.

Would be interested in seeing some RGB data from a dark site..should really pop.

May have to get out of the city and go to Dukadang at the end of the month. Would love to get Ken Crawford's tidal tails as well as RGB data
