A proper attempt at M83

Here is M83 from last night taken under full moon

Guiding functioned as it meant to, which was a first for me

34 subs, 3 minutes each, ISO 1600. With a Canon 1100d and 8 inch f6 newt, guided with a SkyWatcher Synguider.

No darks or flats, will save them for tomorrow when I hopefully will be able to grab some more subs before the moon comes up.

1st pic, mostly full frame, 2nd pic, crop.

Cheers
Jo

When I see those great shots I cannot understand how your noise is almost non existent, even with no darks etc: do you dither?
yours enviously

Dithering wasn't done purposely, but yeah, the shots did move around a bit.
The camera had cooled down on the scope for about an hour beforehand and the temps were 15/18 degrees.

I took some flats and did a repro, I think it is as good as it will get from this data.

Cheers
